I really enjoyed watching the interview. I like the questions asked, and I appreciate the answers. Ron Paul makes Taxas look like a GREAT state with wonderful people who are genuinly friendly and educated. How refreshing!
What a great interview. I have been a fan an listening to Ron Paul for some 30 years and never tire of his honesty, forthrightedness, and lack of guile. What a refreshing change from all the political talking heads in both parties. I voted for him when he ran as Libertarian in 1988 and the more his candidacy gains steam, I am recapturing some of the pride I used to have to be an American. He has even prompted me to finally build my own website dedicated to him and this remarkable campaign: www.paulforronpaul.com I hope with his help we can take our country back from the corruption and death that has taken over.
Thank you, Ted Oberg and Channel 13, for a very incisive but fair interview and portrayal of this outstanding gentleman and scholar. He is the greatest exponent of the Texan spirit of independence and Liberty. If he wins, that will be great, but in a sense he has already won: America is finally listening - and it can't get enough of him and his message of freedom and hope.
Great interview.
To tell the truth, I found his speech at straw poll disappointing. He was obviously tired, and a news report states his wife is in the hospital.. but it was like his whole being was out of him and he was demagoguing to save some mental energy. I totally forgive him, but it still helps that he presents himself so humbly and reasonably here.
I think that as many of us get older our "malarkey-meters" get worn out from overuse, but Dr. Paul's young supporters don't have that problem. When he speaks they are able to hear a very rare thing; truth untainted with personal motivation. The other candidates are insulting the intelligence of these amazing young Americans with Bumper Blurbs and Sticker Speak. Fortunately, not much of it gets heard anyway over the clanging of the malarkey meters. I've been out among them, and it's a wonderful thing to behold;it makes you believe in miracles. But no matter what, I'm so very grateful this generation has the opportunity to know a man like Ron Paul. They will not forget. (And in 2012 they'll have money!)
Thank you Ted, for your questions, time and space for Ron Paul. For the first time in over 35 years, I am proud to say I am a Republican, a Ron Paul Republican. He certainly speaks my mind, and as a past Ronald Reagan supporter and admirer, I am relieved to not have to lower my standards to consider one of the 'lesser of the two evils' as a choice. While our Military personnel are giving their lives for our Country, they are giving their money to Ron Paul. 53% of all money given to all candidates went to Congressman Paul. It will be one of my greatest honors, to support our troops by voting for Dr. Ron Paul for President to restore our once proud Republic. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the interview. Thank you for being fair and unbiased. My heart stopped for a moment when you asked the question about success for Ron Paul because I had a flashback to the George Stephenopalous interview :).
Anyway, please do provide more coverage of the great Ron Paul. I am 24, and I have never been interested or cared for politics as much as I do now. Never, in my lifetime, have I seen a politican so honest, principled, caring, forthright, kind-hearted, and smart as Ron Paul.
Thank you Ron Paul for everything... you have truely raised the level of debate in this country, and America owes you.
I am from California and heard the interview online. Thank you for interviewing Ron Paul and giving him air time. He is truly a gift from God and would make an outstanding U.S. President.
As a Ron Paul supporter I have heard his message many times. I use video clips from YouTube when bringing his message to others. I have printed many of his writings from RonPaulLibrary.org so that I can have some materials that give more information that his usual soundbites. I have to say that this might be one of the most impressive interviews that I've seen him give.
What strikes me about this interview is not the message. Though he has said some new things in this message, the message is still the same. What I find truly compelling about this interview is his candid demeanor. Most interviews do not really focus on him and his lifestyle during this campaign. While Mr. Oberg did ask some standard questions, it appeared to me that he was trying to offer a different perspective on Ron Paul. If that was the underlying purpose for this interview then he succeeded admirably. Ron Paul came across as very honest and humble. He showed his personal weaknesses as well as his personal strengths. As others have said, this is something that has been truly lacking in Washington for a long time.
Again, this was a great interview. I will be using this video in the future.
THANK YOU MR. OBERG and yes I am Shouting!!! For the terrific interview you did with Dr. Ron Paul. He is the Statesman we need to elect President in 2008. His dedication over the past 30 yrs. to keeping our constitution alive, is truly remarkable, especially considering who he has had to work with in Congress. His message is right on.
Excellent interview. It is during these longer interviews that people can really grasp what Ron Paul is trying to say. It is a shame these days that the 30 second soundbytes during the "debates" allow politicians to be as vague as possible and never actually talk about the issue at hand. If Ron Paul is given time to talk he will out-debate any of the other candidates. His positions are based on intelligent research and that is what I respect most about him.

Ron Paul is awesome. He's the only candidate that is worth my vote, because he's the only candidate that understand the issues. Period.

Thanks for the interview. I know you and your cameraman spent a lot of time in San Antonio, I saw you guys out there sweating with the rest of us.
Please do spread the word about him. I'd like to see you do a piece on a "front runner" and see what kind of a response you get from internet users.
Just remember internet users are people too. It should give you a good idea of where people stand. Ron Paul is top notch and the word is getting out.
Thanks again.
